Almond Kashmiri mamra, often called the king of almonds, are superior quality almonds grown in the valleys of Kashmir. They are also called mamra badam or mamra giri and have a concave shape. They have a sweet, nutty, fruity, and metallic taste with a toasty, woody, earthy, and nutty aroma. They are most commonly used in Mughalai and pasanda-style dishes in India. They are often sold as a snack with added seasonings such as salt, pepper, and many more.
